Miami Morays News Release
The Miami Morays and Oronde Gadsden are pleased to announce the hiring of former Dolphin Jamie Nails as the Offensive Line Coach and Arena Football standout Darius Hadley as the Defensive Back Coach.
Jamie Nails was a 4th round draft pick(120th overall) of the Buffalo Bills in 1997 and played at the guard position with them for four seasons before spending two seasons as a member of the Miami Dolphins offensive line. As a member of the Dolphins at the guard position in 2002, Nails contributed to helping Ricky Williams lead the league in rushing with 1853 yards.
"I played with Jamie Nails for a few years with the Dolphins, and I am excited to have him as our coach because of his extensive experience at the position." Oronde Gadsden said.
"I am just excited to be working with Coach Little and to get the opportunity to work alongside the good mix of coaches here. I am happy about this opportunity and excited about this team we are going to field this season and the big things that will come." Jamie Nails said.
Hadley comes to the Morays with six years experience playing as a defensive specialist in the Arena Football League. After attending South Carolina State, Hadley made his arena debut with the Memphis Pharaohs in 1995. For the next three seasons, Hadley played for the Florida Bobcats, and finished his career with the Grand Rapids Rampage and Los Angeles Avengers.
"I like what I am seeing here with this staff. We have a legendary football player and a couple of guys with NFL experience, and I feel pretty good to be part of the staff that is getting assembled. I feel real comfortable with the situation we have here." Hadley said.
"I played against Darius when I was in Portland. With his playing experience, he has a well rounded knowledge about the position that he can pass along to the defensive backs that make this team." Gadsden said.
The Miami Morays will play in the National Indoor Football League, entering its fifth season with 28 teams located across the United States. The NIFL provides players with an opportunity to develop their skills and continue their careers in professional football.
Florida will be home to four new NIFL teams located in Lakeland, Kissimmee, Daytona Beach and Miami, providing natural geographical rivalries, as well as draw from the vast pool of football talent available in the state.
The Miami Morays kick off a 14 game schedule in March with seven home games at the Miami Arena. For additional information about the Miami Morays, please call Mark Fischel at 305-349-4466 or visit us at www.miamimoraysfootball.com.
