
Anthony Named Sons of Hockey Star of the Week

Syracuse, NY - The Federal Hockey League announced today that Port Huron Prowlers goaltender Matt Anthony has been selected as the Sons of Hockey Star of the Week for the period ending Jan. 3, 2015.
The 31-year-old was 4-0-0-1 with two shutouts, a goals-against average of 1.41 and a save percentage of 0.960 last week, helping the Dashers toward a four game win streak going into January.
Anthony went back to back shut outs last week in a 5-0 and 2-0 win over the Dayton Demolition on Wednesday and Friday.
A native of Wheatley, Ontario, Anthony leads the FHL in both goals-against average and save percentage.
Anthony has appeared in 23 games this season posting an overall record of 17-0-0-5 with three shutouts, a 2.67 goals-against average and a save percentage of .929.
