Danville, IL - Matt Anthony stopped all 26 shots he saw in tonights contest as the Dashers won 5-0. Ray Tremblay had a hat trick for the Dashers, and Gehrett Sargis assisted on all three of his goals. Danville controlled the pace of the game from whistle to whistle, not allowing a Dayton shot for the first eight minutes of the game, and by then the Dashers had a 2-0 lead. Aleh Shypitsyn and A.J. Tesoriero both scored with in that eight minute stretch for Danville. Tremblay added the first of his three later in the period to make it 3-0 after one for Danville.

After a scoreless second period, Tremblay added two more goals in the third and that was all she wrote for Dayton.

Both teams did a good job of staying out of the penalty box, with Dayton only having four penalty minutes, and Danville only having six.

After a day off tomorrow, these same two teams will play on Friday in Dayton. Then Danville will be at home on Saturday and Sunday for one more game with Dayton, and then a game with Brewster.
