Another Trick up Lindsay's Sleeve
January 29, 2011 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Ottawa 67's News Release
Cody Lindsay propelled the Ottawa 67's attack today, notching all three tallies, in a 3-2 victory over the Kingston Frontenacs. Lindsay is coming off back-to-back hat-tricks, a feat that deserves no less than a corny title. Petr Mrazek was once again solid in goal for your 67's, turning away all but two of Kingston's 37 shots on goal. The 67's now have a six-point cushion over rival Oshawa for first in the East division. If you were at the Rona Center this afternoon, then you would know the game was not the only thing going on. Christian pop band, God Rocks!, rocked the concourse with their upbeat, family oriented songs. They engaged the young fans from the get-go, and left them with an experience they won't soon forget. Come see what else the Rona Center has to offer when the 67's play host to the Peterborough Petes Friday night at 7:00. See you at the game.
Fans at the Rona Center were treated to some live music today, as the band God Rocks performed live. The band provided the fans with some good music and energy from the moment they hit the stage. Their wholesome message, combined with their fun and electric stage presence, made them a hit.
