Andy Iles Earns Second AHL Call Up

ELMIRA, N.Y. - The Elmira Jackals, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and the AHL's Rochester Americans, proudly celebrating our 10th season in the ECHL, announced today goalie Andy Iles has been loaned to the AHL's Binghamton Senators. It's his second call up to the AHL in two weeks.
The Jackals have also signed defenseman Carl Belizari o and goalie Tim Keegan to Amateur Tryouts (ATOs). They will join the Jackals ahead of tonight's game against the Wheeling Nailers.
Iles, 25, earned his first AHL call up when he signed a PTO with the Albany Devils last week. Prior to his call up, Iles won back-to-back starts for the first time this season and has appeared in 35 games for the Jackals, holding an 8-20-4-1 record with a 3.36 goals-against average and an .899 save percentage.
In his last five appearances, he is 3-1-1-0 and has allowed just 10 goals on 163 shots, giving him a .939 save percentage in that span. He did not appear in a game for the Devils. Iles will join the Binghamton Senators before their game against the Rochester Americans tonight.
Belizario, 23, just finished his collegiate career at Hobart College, where he appeared in 25 games this season, posting 15 points (4g, 11a). The righty-shooting defenseman skated in 106 games in his career at Hobart, netting 56 points (14g, 42a) from the blue line. The 5-foot-10, 180-pound Quebec native will wear #74 for the Jackals.
Keegan, 23, is also a Hobart College product who appeared in nine games during his career. The Lexington, Massachusetts native was 3-3-1 in his career, including 1-0-0 this season. He will wear #35 for the Jackals.
