
Anchorage Dominated Through 8-2 Victory Against Fairbanks

The Anchorage Wolverines bounced back after last week's loss with a 8-2 triumph over the Fairbanks Ice Dogs.
Anchorage opened the match with four quick goals, all coming in within the first 10 minutes of the game from Camden Shasby, Danny Bagnole, Kade Shea and Tyler Hennen.
Fairbanks put a single point on the board after the four-goal spree, despite outshooting Anchorage 14 to 11 throughout the frame.
In net for the Ice Dogs, Tyler Krivtsov put up a .636 SV% in the first, resulting in Marcus Ouellet suiting up for period two and three.
The Wolverines didn't make it any easier for Ouellet, putting 14 shots on goal in the second and 16 throughout the third.
After bringing the puck into Fairbanks' zone, Tyler Hennen took the initial shot, bouncing it off the post and Monrean grabbing the rebound, securing the Wolverines fifth goal.
Blake Markwell later took a shot near the blue line, Christian deflected the puck into the top right corner chalking up their sixth goal of the night.
Within the first 30 seconds of the final frame, Oliver Salo widened the Wolverines lead to 7-1.
Danny Bagnole followed in the 11th minute for his second goal of the night just before Fairbanks found the back of the net bringing the score to 8-2.
The game closed with a final score of 8-2. Liam Beerman stood in net tonight for the Wolverines, denying 28 of 30 shots against, helping the Wolverines to two more points on the Club 49 Point Tracker.
The two teams will finish the series tomorrow in Fairbanks with another 7:30pm puck drop.
