Anaheim Storm News Release

Anaheim, CA (March 9, 2005) - The Anaheim Storm (2-6) added two new faces to their defense today. Joining the line-up is Bill Greer and Chris McElroy.

Greer and two conditional draft picks were acquired from the Arizona Sting in a trade that sent league veteran Chris Seller to Glendale. An Oshawa native, Greer recorded two goals, four assists, four penalty minutes and 25 loose balls in five contests this season. Having played his entire NLL season with Arizona/Columbus, he entered the 2005 season with 45 points (18g, 27a), 59 penalty minutes and 352 loose balls in 44 games. He is expected to join the line-up this Sunday against Toronto.

McElroy has been added to the Active Roster after being on the Storm Holdout list since December. Selected by Toronto in the 6th round of the 2003 Entry Draft, he was a practice player for the Rock during the 2004 season. He will replace forward Athen Yuen who was released by Anaheim today.

Murray, an enforcer on the turf, has recorded three assists, 19 penalty minutes and 38 loose balls in eight games with Anaheim. This is his first season with the Storm, fourth in the NLL; he was acquired in the 2005 Dispersal Draft of the Vancouver Ravens.
