
Anaheim Reassigns Emerson Etem to Norfolk

ANAHEIM, Calif. - The Anaheim Ducks announced Monday that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reassigned left wing Emerson Etem to the Norfolk Admirals, Anaheim 's primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
Etem, 21, returns to Norfolk having registered 11 points (7g, 4a) with four penalty minutes and a +3 rating in 26 games played with Anaheim this season. Etem recorded a goal and a +1 rating in two games played with the Ducks during his recent February 5 recall. In addition, the 6-1, 206-pound forward has 28 points (11g, 17a) and a +9 rating in 25 contests played with the Admirals.
The 2010 first round draft selection of Anaheim made his NHL debut with the Ducks in 2012-13, collecting10 points (3g, 7a) with nine penalty minutes in 38 contests. The Long Beach, California native has appeared in 62 career contests with the Ducks, totaling 20 points ( 8g, 11a) with 13 PIM and a +9 rating. Etem posted 16 points (13g, 3a) in 45 contests with Norfolk last season.
The Admirals continue their homestand this Friday (Feb. 14) and Saturday (Feb. 15) against the Syracuse Crunch. Former Admirals greats Chad Ackerman and Dominic Maltais will be inducted into the Admirals Hall of Fame prior to Friday's game. On Saturday, there will be a postgame skate with the Admirals players. Skates will be made available for fans on a first-come-first-serve basis. Fans may bring their own skates.
