Anaheim Assigns Right Wing Dan Sexton

Syracuse, NY (December 5, 2010) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Anaheim Ducks have assigned right wing Dan Sexton to Syracuse.

Sexton, 23, has appeared in four games with the Crunch this season, collecting five points (2g, 3a) and two penalty minutes. He has also skated in 13 games with Anaheim this season, registering three points (1g, 2a) with two penalty minutes.

A native of Apple Valley, Minnesota, Sexton appeared in 76 games in two seasons with Bowling Green (CCHA) from 2007-09, recording 60 points (24g, 36a) and 34 penalty minutes. He was signed by the Ducks as a free agent on April 7, 2009.

The Crunch continue their four-game road trip by facing Charlotte in the second of back-to-back games on Monday, December 6 at 7 p.m. Syracuse returns home to The Oncenter War Memorial Arena on Friday, December 10 vs. Adirondack at 7:30 p.m.
