
Anaheim Arsenal Acquire Guard Davin White

ANAHEIM, Calif., November 30, 2006 -- The Anaheim Arsenal has acquired guard Davin White and waived guard Justin Johnson.
White, 6-1, 190, was waived by the Phoenix Suns on October 19. He appeared in one preseason game for the Suns where he played six minutes and scored two points. He was selected by the Arsenal from the NBA Development League player pool.
Before spending the 2006-07 preseason with the Phoenix Suns, White spent last season in the ABA with the Niagra DareDevils.
He finished his collegiate career at Cal State Northridge in 2004-05 where he averaged 21.5 points and 2.7 assists during his senior year for the Matadors.
Johnson played in three games for the Arsenal this season, averaging 20 minutes, 3.7 points and 3 assists.
White is expected to be in uniform on Friday when the Arsenal (1-2) travel to Austin to take on the Toros (0-2) for two games before heading to Ft. Worth to play the Flyers (1-0) on Tuesday.
