WHO GETS THE FIRST ONE? Either Sioux Falls or Idaho will notch their first victory of the season in Sioux Falls tonight. The Skyforce is 0-2 and the Stampede 0-3.
SPLITTING THE ROAD: The Arkansas RimRockers managed to split a four-game road trip to open the season, ending it with a 102-92 win at Bakersfield on Wednesday. The Rockers are host to defending champion Albuquerque in their home opener on Friday.
CHARITY STARTS ON THE LINE: Colorado's Rick Rickert has opened the season by making 16 straight free throws.
DEN OF THIEVES: Three of the top four players in steals per game all wear a Sioux Falls uniform. Frank Williams leads the league with 3.5 per game, followed by Andre Brown, tied at 3.0. Luke Whitehead is tied for fourth with three other players at 2.5.
HINT OF IRON: Four players are averaging at least 40 minutes per game and already hinting at being iron men this season. Devin Green of Los Angeles leads the league at 41.3 mpg, followed by Andre Brown of Sioux Falls (41.0), Anaheim's Andre Owens (40.7) and Kevin Pinkney of Bakersfield (40.0).
