
Amerks Single Game Tickets on Sale Monday

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans will open their 48th season of play in the American Hockey League at The Blue Cross Arena at the Rochester War Memorial on Friday, October 10th against the defending Eastern Conference champion Hamilton Bulldogs.
Single game tickets for the Amerks 39 home games at The Blue Cross Arena will go on sale on Monday, September 22nd at 10:00 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at The Blue Cross Arena Box Office, all TicketMaster locations, all Kaufmann's outlets, the House of Guitars, Lakeshore Record Exchange, the Sound Garden in Geneseo, Unicorn Audio in Batavia and Ticket Express. Individual seats are priced at $18.25, $14.25, $10.25 and $5.00 and can also be purchased via phone by calling TicketMaster at (585) 232-1900 or the Amerks Office at (585) 454-5335. Single seats are also available online at www.amerks.com.
The new $5.00 tickets allow fans to attend individual Amerks games at an affordable price. The seats are located in the 200 balcony and are general admission.
In addition, Amerks season tickets are still available for the 2003-04 season, which includes the $99 season seats, at the Amerks Office in The Blue Cross Arena or by calling (585) 454-5335.
The Amerks will play two preseason exhibition games. The Amerks open their exhibition schedule on Friday, October 3rd at the First Arena (formerly known as the Coach USA Center) in Elmira, NY. That night the Amerks will play the Cleveland Barons at 7:00 p.m.
The Amerks will also host the Barons in a free American Hockey League home preseason exhibition game on Saturday, October 4th at 7:00 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena. All general admission seats for the contest are free of charge. Fans can pick up tickets at the Amerks Office in The Blue Cross Arena, ESL Sports Centre, Locker Room Sports, all Dick's Sporting Goods locations, and at the Customer Service Center at the Mall at Greece Ridge Center.
The Amerks will officially open their 2003 training camp on Wednesday, September 24th at the ESL Sports Centre on the campus of Monroe Community College. That day the players will report for physicals at 6:00 p.m. The following morning, the Amerks will conduct practice from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
In addition, the team will conduct a night practice during the first weekend of camp. The Amerks will hold a Blue-White Scrimmage on Saturday, September 27th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the ESL Sports Centre. The event, and each training camp session, is free and open to the public.
