Americans Will Host Girl Scout Night on February 16th

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, announced today that the team will host Girl Scout Night on Saturday, February 16th when the Americans host the Reading Royals.
Over 300 Girl Scouts will be on hand that night to earn their mission military badge. The Girl Scouts can earn that badge by learning more about our military. The Americans will have military stations set up throughout the concourse, with several different branches on hand to answer questions for the Girl Scouts.
The organizations that will be on hand that night include the following: The Military Order of the Purple Heart, Department of Texas; Veterans Center of North Texas; The JRB Fort Worth Naval Base; US Marine Corps Recruiting and US Air Force Recruiting; and Representatives from the US Air Force Academy and Naval Academy.
The Girl Scout Honor Guard will be on hand for the presentation of the colors. If you are a Girl Scout and would like to be a part of this night, contact Ashley Rote at 972-912-1019.
