Americans Unveil 2010 WHL Finals Playoff Schedule

KENNEWICK, WA - After defeating the Vancouver Giants 4 games to 2 in their Western Conference Finals playoff series, the Tri-City Americans are pleased to announce their schedule for the upcoming 2010 Western Hockey League Finals.

Tri-City will match-up against the defending Eastern Conference Champion Calgary Hitmen in the best-of-seven series. It is the Americans' first-ever trip to the league finals, while the Hitmen are making their second consecutive appearance. Fans are encouraged to frequently check the Americans' website, www.amshockey.com, in the coming days for updated playoff information.

Game 1: Fri., April 30, Tri-City Americans at Calgary Hitmen, 7:30 p.m. (CST) at Pengrowth Saddledome

Game 2: Sat., May 1, Tri-City Americans at Calgary Hitmen, 8:00 p.m. (CST) at Pengrowth Saddledome

Game 3: Tues., May 4, Calgary Hitmen at Tri-City Americans, 7:05 p.m. (PST) at Toyota Center

Game 4: Wed., May 5, Calgary Hitmen at Tri-City Americans, 7:05 p.m. (PST) at Toyota Center

Game 5: Fri., May 7, Tri-City Americans at Calgary Hitmen *If necessary

Game 6: Sun., May 9, Calgary Hitmen at Tri-City Americans *If necessary

Game 7: Mon., May 10, Tri-City Americans at Calgary Hitmen *If necessary

Single game tickets for the WHL Finals will go on sale starting at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 26 at the Toyota Center box office along with all Ticketmaster outlets, including all Fred Meyer outlets or online at www.ticketmaster.com. Prices for single game tickets are as follows:

- Adults (ages 18-61) - $23.00

- Seniors (ages 62+) - $18.00

- Students (ages 10-17) - $13.00

- Youth (ages 3-9) - $10.00
