Americans Trade Dwayne Jean Jr. to Red Deer

KENNEWICK, WA - Tri-City Americans general manager Bob Tory announced today that the team has traded 18-year-old forward Dwayne Jean Jr. to the Red Deer Rebels. In exchange, Tri-City will receive a fourth-round pick in the 2024 WHL Prospects Draft.

"Dwayne came to us and requested a trade to be closer to home," stated Tory. "We thank him for his time with our Club and wish him nothing but the best moving forward."

Jean Jr. was originally listed by the Americans in 2020. He played 58 games with Tri-City, totaling five goals and nine assists.
