Americans to Face Idaho in Round 1 of the Kelly Cup Playoffs

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the San Jose Sharks, will open the ECHL Kelly Cup Playoffs on Thursday, April 14th at home against the Idaho Steelheads for Game 1, with Game 2 on Saturday, April 16th at 7:05 PM.
The Americans were 2-2-0 against Idaho in the regular season, splitting the home and road series at 1-1. The two teams played all four games in a ten day span in mid-December. Chad Costello led the way against the Steelheads with seven points in four games (2 goals & 5 assists).
The series will be a 2-3-2 with Games 3, 4 and 5 shifting to Boise on April 20th, 22nd and 23th, with Games 6 & 7 in Allen on April 26th & 27th. Below is the complete schedule with dates and times for the best of seven series.
