Allen Americans Co-Captains Gary Steffes and Chad Costello

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans announced today that 2015 ECHL scoring champ, Chad Costello and goal scoring leader, Gary Steffes have been named co-captains for the 2015-2016 hockey season.
The team made the announcement today during the Americans annual media luncheon at five-year partner, Abuelo's in Plano.
"I'm am excited to announce that we are naming Chad Costello and Gary Steffes as co-captains for the upcoming season," said Americans Head Coach Steve Martinson. "Both have shown great leadership and will share the duties for both home and road."
Steffes and Costello join Jarret Lukin, Tobias Whelan, Jason Deitsch, Mike Berube and Jamie Schaafsma as players in Allen to wear the 'C' in the history of this franchise.
The Americans open the regular season at home on Friday, October 16th against the Quad City Mallards at 7:05 pm. Call 972-912-1000Â for tickets.
