Americans, KNDU announce 2017-18 Game Schedule for SWX
KENNEWICK, WA - The Tri-City Americans, in partnership with KNDU/SWX, announced today a joint agreement for the 2017-18 broadcast schedule, including the broadcast of eight Americans games.
SWX will televise five Tri-City Americans' home games and three away games from Spokane. Rob Jesselson and Craig West will call all 5 of the games at the Toyota Center.
With Craig moving over to the TV broadcast, the Americans are pleased to announce as a part of the 30th anniversary, Kirk Williamson, the original broadcaster for the Americans, will fill in with the radio call on NewsTalk 870 KFLD. Williamson will be joined by his long-time color partner, Tony Ott for the broadcast on December 1st for the Teddy Bear Toss. Kirk was instrumental in the development of the promotion back in 1988 (known as Toy Trick back in the day). John Meissner will return to fill in for Craig on the other four games.
