
Americans Gearing Up For Training Camp

Allen, TEXAS-The Allen Americans of the Central Hockey League are set to open training camp on October 10th, 2011.
Americans Head Coach and GM Dwight Mullins along with Associate Coach and Director of Player Personnel Bill MacDonald will conduct training camp on Monday October 10th through Thursday October 14th at the Allen Event Center, located ay Hwy 75 and Stacy Rd in the Village at Allen.
Allen Americans training camp will begin at 10:00 AM each morning and run roughly two hours on the ice (subject to change) with each session open to the media and public.
Players will run through several drills that week along with scheduled off ice training and conditioning sessions.
"I'm excited about the quality and depth at each position coming in to camp." said Americans Head Coach and GM Dwight Mullins. "This should be a very competitive training camp."
The Americans will play two preseason games around training camp. On Friday October 15th the Americans will host the Texas Brahmas at 7:05 PM. The following night October 16th, Allen will travel across the Metroplex to North Richland Hills for a 7:30 PM matchup against Texas.
The Americans will open their third regular season in the Central Hockey League on Friday October 21st at home against the Tulsa Oilers.
