Hamilton, Ontario - The Rochester Americans defeated the Hamilton Bulldogs 2-0 on Monday afternoon at Copps Coliseum. David Leggio stopped all 30 shots he faced for his second shutout against the Bulldogs this season.

The Americans opened the scoring at 10:01 of the opening frame on a power-play goal by Brayden McNabb who wired a shot from the point and the puck was redirected past Hamilton Bulldogs starting goaltender Dustin Tokarski. After 20 minutes of play, the Amerks led the Bulldogs 18-7 in shots.

The Amerks increased their lead at 1:06 of the second period as Luke Adam went streaking down the left side and blasted a shot from the circle by Tokarski blocker side. Rochester led Hamilton 37-13 in shots after 40 minutes of play.

Tokarski stopped 47 of 49 shots in his second game as a 'Dog as the Americans outshot the Bulldogs 49-30 to end the game.

The Bulldogs' next game is against the Rochester Americans at Bell Centre in Montreal on Friday, February 22nd at 7:30 p.m. All 'Dogs games will be broadcast on Hamilton's Funny 820 (AM 820).
