
Americans Announce 2008 First Round Playoff Dates

KENNEWICK, WA - The Tri-City Americans, currently having their best season in franchise history, have secured their first two dates in the Western Hockey League's 2008 Playoffs. The first round, best-of-seven series will be played at the Toyota Center in Kennewick on Friday, March 21st and Saturday, March 22nd for Games 1 and 2. Game times are 7:05 p.m. for both contests. Fans are encouraged to check the Americans' website, www.AmsHockey.com, in the coming days for further playoff information.
The Americans, who are still waiting to see who their opponent will be in the first round, are offering eight-game Playoff packages. Packages are available for as little as $64 and provide fans the right of first refusal on their seats should the playoffs extend beyond eight games. Packages can be purchased through the Americans office at 509.736.0606 and can be picked up starting on Monday, March 17th. Playoff package sales will conclude at the end of business on Tuesday, March 11th.
Single game tickets for the playoffs will go on sale at the Toyota Center box office on Wednesday, March 12 at 10:00 AM along with all Ticketmaster outlets. Visit Ticketmaster online at www.ticketmaster.com. Prices for single game tickets are as follows:
- Adults (ages 18-61) - $19.00
- Seniors (ages 62+) - $15.00
- Students (ages 10-17) - $13.00
- Youth (ages 3-9) - $10.00
