
Juha Metsola named ADT CHL Goaltender of the Week

Toronto, ON - The Canadian Hockey League today announced that Juha Metsola of the Lethbridge Hurricanes is the ADT CHL Goaltender of the Week after posting a 2-0-0-0 record along with one shutout and a perfect goals against average and save percentage in two games last week.
Metsola came into Tuesday's game against the Saskatoon Blades early in the second period and turned aside all 22 shots he faced to help the Hurricanes to a 7-4 come-from-behind win. On Wednesday, he made 26 saves for his third shutout of the season, backing Lethbridge to a 4-0 win over the Prince Albert Raiders.
Metsola, 1n 18-year-old native of Tampere, Finland, improved his season record to 17-5-0-1 with a 1.99 goals against average and .914 save percentage in 25 games.
Trevor Cann of the Peterborough Petes was the OHL's nominee after going 2-0-0-0 with a 0.97 goals against average and .970 save percentage in two games and Jake Allen of the St. John's Fog Devils was the QMJHL nominee after posting a 1-0-0-1 record with a 1.44 goals against average and .963 save percentage.
