Americans Add Skill and Toughness with the Signing of Kerbashian

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans have added depth up front, with the addition of forward Kale Kerbashian to the 2012-2013 roster.
The native of Thunder Bay, Ontario, is a 22 year old forward standing 5'11" and weighing 200 pounds.
Kerbashian comes to the Americans after playing in two games for the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL this season. In those two games, he had a goal and two penalty minutes.
"Kale brings toughness and skill to our forward group," said Allen Americans Head Coach Steve Martinson. "He is dealing with a minor injury right now, but I expect him to play this Saturday against Fort Worth."
Prior to his time in Gwinnett, Kerbashian played half a season with the Greenville Road Warriors of the ECHL in 2011-2012, scoring eight goals for a total of 15 points. He spent parts of three seasons of Junior Hockey with the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League as well as two seasons with the Sarnia Sting of the OHL.
The Americans return to action this Friday night at home against the Fort Worth Brahmas at 7:05 pm. Tickets for Friday's game and all remaining home games can be purchased online at www.allenamericans.com .
