Tri-City Americans News Release
KENNEWICK, WA - Tri-City Americans general manager Bob Tory announced today that the team has acquired 19-year-old defenseman Nicco Camazzola from the Vancouver Giants for a fifth-round pick in the 2024 WHL Prospects Draft.
"With a long road trip ahead, and a lot of games in a short period of time, we felt it was important to add some depth to our roster," stated Tory. "Nicco is a solid stay-at-home defenseman with a physical presence to his game."
Camazzola was selected 78th overall by the Giants in the 2018 WHL Prospects Draft. He has played 91 games with Vancouver, totaling three goals, nine assists, and 113 penalty minutes.
