
American Hockey League Announces Suspension
October 22, 2014 - American Hockey League (AHL) News Release
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced that Albany Devils right wing Darcy Zajac has been suspended for one (1) game as a result of his actions in a game vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Oct. 21.
Zajac was assessed an instigator penalty within the final five minutes of the third period, resulting in an automatic one-game suspension under the provisions of AHL Rule 46.22.
Zajac will miss Albany's game Friday (Oct. 24) at Hartford.
