The Cats held a 7-2 lead over El Paso entering the bottom of the sixth inning. But that lead evaporated quickly, as the Diablos pushed nine runs across the plate in the frame to take an 11-7 lead that would only increase as the late innings wore on. Diablos RF Nelson Teilon singled in the tying and go-ahead runs, scoring Maikol Gonzalez and Johan Garcia. Teilon finished the game going 2-for-4 with a run and three RBI. Teilon's three RBI were outdone only by Diablos C Alberto Espinosa's four. Cats CF Ryan Patterson went 3-for-5 with two runs and two RBI to pace Fort Worth.
