Winnipeg 4, St. Paul 2

Winnipeg scored three runs in the seventh inning and added another run in the eighth to defeat the visiting St. Paul Saints 4-2. St. Paul took the lead on SS Adam Frost's RBI single in the top of the fifth, and then made it 2-0 when RF Argelis Nunez hit a solo homer in the sixth inning. The Goldeyes came back in the seventh frame when C Luis Alen batted in a run, and then 1B Justin Bass hit a two-run home run to give Winnipeg a 3-2 lead. Winnipeg added an insurance run in the eighth frame. Goldeyes reliever Zach Baldwin faced just one batter but was credited with the win for his 0.1 innings pitched. Winnipeg reliever Aaron Hartsock worked a scoreless ninth to earn the save.

Fort Worth 4, El Paso 3

Fort Worth scored all four of their runs in the seventh inning and that was enough to defeat El Paso by a score of 4-3. The Diablos struck first when 2B Albenis Machado hit an RBI sacrifice fly in the top of the third to give El Paso a 1-0 lead. In the bottom of the seventh, Fort Worth 1B Trent Lockwood hit a solo home run to tie the game. Four batters later, RF Aljay Davis hit a two-RBI single, and CF Ryan Patterson also batted in a run in the inning. El Paso rallied for two runs in the ninth inning but fell one run short of a comeback. Cats starter Phillip Bartleski earned the win, pitching 8.1 innings and allowing two runs on six hits. Nick DeBarr recorded the final out of the game to earn the save for Fort Worth.

Sioux City 13, Gary SouthShore 3

The Sioux City Explorers plated 13 runs on 19 hits as they cruised to a 13-3 victory over the Gary SouthShore RailCats. Explorers DH Brett Flowers went 3-for-4 at the plate with a double and three RBIs, and 1B Kent Sakamoto hit a home run and had three RBIs. Left fielder TJ Bohn tallied two RBIs for Sioux City, and C Ray Serrano had a double, a triple, four runs scored and an RBI. Starting pitcher Richard Salazar earned the win for Sioux City. Salazar tossed 6.2 innings and allowed three runs on eleven hits. For the RailCats, DH Brad Boyer drove in two runs in the loss.

Amarillo 7, Shreveport-Bossier 4

The visiting Amarillo Sox built a six-run lead after just two innings played as they defeated the Shreveport-Bossier Captains 7-4. The Sox got out to a hot start by plating five runs in the first inning, including a two-RBI single hit by C Kevin Butler. Amarillo rode their early lead to victory as Shreveport-Bossier could not mount a comeback. Sox 1B Cyle Hankerd went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and three runs scored, and RF Adam De La Garza doubled twice and batted in a run. Starting pitcher Justin Garcia allowed four runs on six hits in 7.1 innings pitched to earn the win for Amarillo. Cody Evans worked a scoreless ninth to earn the save for the Sox. Captains DH Palmer Karr Jr. had two RBIs in a losing effort.

Fargo-Moorhead 9, Sioux Falls 5

Fargo-Moorhead erased a 5-4 deficit by scoring five runs in the top of the eighth to defeat Sioux Falls by a score of 9-5. RedHawks DH Kyle Nichols led Fargo-Moorhead with two doubles and three RBIs. RedHawks 1B Jesse Hoorelbeke went 2-for-5 with a double and two RBIs, and SS Zach Penprase had two hits, two runs scored and two RBIs. After falling behind 3-2 after an inning played, the Pheasants scored two runs in the third inning and added one more in the sixth to go up 5-3 before the RedHawks rallied for one in the seventh and five in the eighth frame to reclaim the lead. Reliever Joe Harris earned the win for pitching 2.1 scoreless innings in relief. For the Pheasants, CF Reggie Abercrombie homered and had two RBIs in the loss.

Grand Prairie 11, Lincoln 4

AirHogs 2B David Espinosa homered twice and batted in five runs to help power Grand Prairie to an 11-4 win against the Lincoln Saltdogs. Espinosa went 4-for-5 at the plate and scored three runs in the game. Espinosa belted a two-run homer in the third inning, hit a two-RBI double in the bottom of the sixth, and knocked a solo home run in the eighth inning. Right fielder Tyler Henley went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBIs for Grand Prairie, and LF Stephen Douglas had two doubles, a run scored and an RBI. AirHogs starting pitcher Josh Rainwater pitched six strong innings to earn his league-leading eleventh win of the season. Rainwater scattered seven hits and conceded only one earned run. For Lincoln, LF Curt Smith went 4-for-5 with a solo home run in a losing effort.

Wichita at Kansas City (Game in Progress)

The game between Wichita and Kansas City is still in progress with the game tied 8-8 in the top of the 9th.
