Starting pitcher Joel Kirsten pitched a complete game allowing just one run on six hits to help Fort Worth past Shreveport 2-1. 3B Terence Green went 1-for-3 with an RBI to lead the Cats at the plate on a night when offense was scarce for both teams. Despite picking up the loss, Shreveport starting pitcher Josh Neitz was effective, allowing only two runs on four hits over eight innings. At the plate, 1B Al Corbeil went 2-for-3 to lead the Sports in the losing effort.

Sioux City 9, St. Joe 2

3B Jake Daubert went 4-for-6 and drove in a run to lead Sioux City past St. Joe 9-2. CF Zack Pace and 1B Dan Meier combined for six hits and two RBI to add to the powerful Sioux City attack. As a whole, the Explorers pounded out 17 hits in the game. Starting pitcher Billy Keppinger picked up the win for Sioux City, pitching a complete game and allowing just two runs on seven hits while striking out 10. The win improves Keppinger's record to 5-3 on the season. C Mikaela Dworken went 3-for-3 at the plate to St. Joe in the losing cause.

DH Nick Gretz and SS Brian Sprout combined for five hits and eight RBI to lead St. Paul past Lincoln 12-4. 2B/1B Josh Renick added four hits of his own to the powerful Saints attack, which tallied 18 hits in the game. Starting pitcher Justin Lord got the win and improved to 7-0 on the season. Relief pitcher Matt Pike pitched 2 2/3 shutout innings to notch his third save of the year. Lincoln 3B Jay Yaconetti went 2-for-3 with two RBI to lead the Saltdogs offensively.
