RF Juan Rocha and 2B/LF Ed Montague combined for four hits, two homeruns and five RBI to push Pensacola past Coastal Bend 9-5. SS Carlos Mendoza went 3-for-4 in the game to lead the Pelicans in hits. Relief pitcher Bubba Dobson pitched 1 2/3 scoreless innings to pick up the win, his first of the season. C Stephen Morales went 3-for-4 with a solo homerun to lead the Aviators in the losing cause.

Fort Worth 7, Shreveport 2

Starting pitcher Dan Grybash pitched seven scoreless innings and struck out five to help Fort Worth past Shreveport 7-2. Grybash allowed just two hits in the game as he improved to 3-3 on the season. LF Tony Mota went 3-for-4 with a homerun and two RBI to lead the Cats at the plate. CF Coby Smith and 1B Al Corbeil combined for two hits and two RBI to lead Shreveport offensively.

Lincoln 6, St. Joe 2

Starting pitcher Brian Rodaway pitched 6 1/3 strong innings to help Lincoln past St. Joe 6-0, and improved his record to 4-1 on the season. Rodaway allowed just two runs on seven hits while striking out six in the game. 2B Josh Patton went 2-for-3 with a homerun and two RBI to lead the Saltdogs offensively. C Kevin Sullivan added two hits and two RBI to the Saltdogs attack as well. Four different St. Joe batters had at least two hits in the game to lead the Blacksnakes at the plate.

CF Jason Sugden went 2-for-4 with three RBI to lead Sioux Falls past El Paso 10-2. 1B Abner Arroyo also added some power to the Sioux Falls attack, going 1-for-3 with a homerun and three RBI. The homerun was Arroyo's 7th of the season. Starting pitcher Matt Koziara allowed just two runs over nine innings to pick up the win for the Canaries. C Matt Eichel went 3-for-4 with a homerun and two RBI for El Paso in the losing effort.

Starting pitcher T.J. Stanton allowed just one run on three hits while striking out seven to lead St. Paul past Sioux City 5-1. The win improved Stanton's record to 3-3 on the season. Relief pitcher Matt Hammons pitched just 1/3 of an inning, but managed to pick up his ninth save of the year. CF Robert Fischer and DH Nick Gretz combined for four hits and five RBI to lead the Saints at the plate. 1B Dan Meier went 1-for-4 and scored the lone Explorers run to lead the team offensively.
