Pensacola 11, Fort Worth 5

RF Chase Porch knocked three extra base hits and drove in two as Pensacola topped Fort Worth 11-5. LF Marcos Rodriguez added four hits of his own and collected three RBI. The Cats' first six runners reached in the bottom of the third to score four runs, but their offense was quiet the rest of the way. CF Brian Fryer and 1B John Allen each went 2-for-4 with two RBI in the loss. RHP David Nathanson tossed the first six frames for the Pelicans, picking up his sixth win of the year in the contest.

St. Paul 9, Sioux City 8

Sioux City plated two in the eighth to bring their deficit to a single run, but St. Paul closer Matt Meyer struck out two in the ninth to pick up his ninth save as the Saints escaped with a 9-8 victory. RF Chad Gabriel enjoyed a 3-for-5 night, including a two-run triple in the bottom of the sixth. 1B Jacob Cruz led the Explorers' offense by reaching base four times, driving in two, and launching his first home run in a Sioux City uniform.

Grand Prairie 14, El Paso 5

Grand Prairie's seven-run fifth inning put the game out of reach for El Paso, as they lost to the AirHogs 14-5. LF Daniel Berg enjoyed a four-hit night, while 2B Antoin Gray and SS David Espinosa combined to go 5-for-10, driving in three each for Grand Prairie. RHP Chris Martin made his second start of the season and posted a quality start, striking out nine Diablos to improve to 3-0 on the year. El Paso notched 13 hits but could plate only five runners in the contest, led by 2B Hector Bernal, who had a three-hit night.
