The Grand Prairie AirHogs scored four runs in the seventh inning to rally from a 2-1 deficit and edge the Lincoln Saltdogs, 5-4. 3B Cesar Nicolas and 1B Javier Brito were the stars offensively for Grand Prairie as they went a combined 5-for-9 at the plate with two runs scored and driving in all five of the team's runs. Brito chipped in with his 11th home run of the year. AirHogs reliever Lee Gronkiewicz tossed a scoreless sixth inning and came away with his first victory of the season. Grand Prairie closer James Morrison allowed two runs on three hits in the ninth inning but held on to collect his 17th save.

St. Paul 6, Sioux Falls 4

LF Jacob Butler had a terrific night offensively in the Saints win over the Sioux Falls Canaries. Butler went a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate with two doubles and three runs driven in. 2B Alex Fonseca, DH Josh Alley and CF Andrew Schmiesing each collected two hits apiece to aid the St. Paul offense. Saints reliever Reed Dickert evened his record up at 4-4 on the season with the win. Dickert gave up one walk and three hits with four strikeouts in three innings of work. SS Tim Hutting scored two runs in a 2-for-4 night for Sioux Falls in defeat.

Wichita 16, Sioux City 3

It was all Wichita in this one as the Wingnuts rolled out to an 8-0 lead after four innings and would cruise from there to a huge win over the Sioux City Explorers. Everyone in the Wichita lineup had at least one hit, led by CF Nick Blasi who was 3-for-6 with two runs scored and a RBI. RF Dustan Mohr added a grand slam in the fourth inning and LF Greg Porter launched a three-run shot in the eighth. Wichita starting pitcher Derek Blacksher continues his terrific season as he collected his league leading 11th win of the year. Blacksher allowed three earned runs on five hits in five innings pitched.

Pensacola 10, Shreveport-Bossier 2

The Pensacola Pelicans scored early and often in this game as the Pelicans held a 6-0 advantage after three innings and went on to victory by a 10-2 final over the Shreveport-Bossier Captains. Pensacola 3B Marshall McDougall went 3-for-4 with a double and five RBI while RF Kevin Reynolds had a two-hit game in which he scored two runs and drove in one. Pelicans starting pitcher Aaron Jackson tossed a solid game en route to his second win. Jackson gave up two earned runs on seven hits while fanning four batters.
