Eight of the nine St. Paul batters collected a hit and five of the eight had a multi-hit game. SS Ryan Priddy and RF Brent Krause went a combined 5-for-10 with a run scored and eight runs driven in. Saints starter Adam Brandenburg moved his record over the .500 mark to 2-1 with the win pitching 5 2/3 innings giving up four runs, three earned, on three hits and two punchouts. Coastal Bend 10, El Paso 9
@ El Paso, TX. Time: 2:35 Attendance: 4201
W: Miguel Martinez (1-2) L: Ned Darley (3-2) S: Tom Atlee (6)
HR: EP - Evan Conley (1)
In a remarkable 10-9 come-from-behind victory, Coastal Bend drove in three runs in the top of the ninth inning to shock El Paso. The Aviators loaded the bases to start the top of the ninth inning, then scored their three runs on a pitcher's error, a bases-loaded walk and a sacrifice fly. The three-run rally capped a huge comeback for Coastal Bend, who trailed El Paso 8-3 after only three innings. Evan Conley had a three-run dinger in the third inning for El Paso and finished 2-for-4. But right after Conley's home run gave El Paso a big lead, Coastal Bend inched back to make the game 8-7 in the fifth inning. Still, El Paso added an insurance run in the eighth inning and only needed three outs to finish off the Aviators. Instead, their ninth-inning burst gave them the lead and Tom Atlee picked up his second save in two days.

Lincoln 3, St. Joe 1 (11 innings)
@ St. Joseph, MO. Time: 3:10 Attendance: 519
W: Mark Roberts (2-1) L: Vinny DeChristofaro (1-6) S: Matt Varner (9)
HR: NONE
Lincoln took the lead in a tight 1-1 contest with two runs in the top of the eleventh inning and held on to a 3-1 win against St. Joe. St. Joe nabbed the lead first after a run in the fourth inning, but Lincoln answered back with a run in the eighth inning thanks to 3B Jay Yaconetti's leadoff double. It was a pitcher's duel all the way between Lincoln's Kyle Ruwe (eight innings, three hits, eight strikeouts) and St. Joe's Andrew Edwards (seven and one-third einnings, three hits, five strikeouts), but neither factored into the decision as the game forged into extra innings. In the eleventh, a leadoff walk and three straight singles from the middle of Lincoln's lineup did the trick for the go-ahead runs. Lincoln's Matt Varner struck out two batters and pitched a perfect bottom of the inning to clinch the win.
