3B Trino Aguilar went 2-for-3 with a run scored and a RBI to help the Pelicans roll past the Sports and win their third consecutive game. Pensacola starter Rusty Begnaud won his sixth game of the season going 6 2/3 innings allowing three runs, all earned, on eight hits, with six strikeouts. The six wins ties him with Lindsay Gulin of Lincoln for the most wins in the league. Pelicans CF/RF Drake Wade aided Begnaud by hitting a grand slam in the eighth inning, his first home run of the season. For the Sports, they were led today by CF Coby Smith who had a 3-for-5 outing with two runs scored and a RBI, include hitting his first home run of the season.

Fort Worth 9, Coastal Bend 2

HR: FW-Palmer Karr (1); CB-Jaime Landon (2)

Fort Worth pounded out 13 hits and took advantage of four Aviators errors en route to a 9-2 victory over Coastal Bend. 1B Jordan Foster went 3-for-4 with an RBI to lead the Cats at the plate. DH Palmer Karr hit his first homerun of the season to add to the Cats offense. Starting pitcher Kevin Hull went 8 1/3 innings and allowed just two runs on five hits to pick up the win, his second of the season. LF Brian Fryer and IF Jaime Landon combined for all five of Coastal Bend's hits in the game. Landon drove in both Aviators runs with his second homerun of the season.

St. Joe 5, St. Paul 4 (10 innings)

@ St. Joseph, MO. Time: 3:17 Attendance: 933

LF Terrell Merriman went 1-for-5, but his one hit was a walk-off single with one out in the bottom of the 10th inning that plated 3B Ben Thomas and gave St. Joe the 5-4 victory over St. Paul. 1B Mark Burke went 3-for-3 with an RBI to lead the Blacksnakes at the plate. Relief pitcher Jamie Tricoglou pitched a perfect top of the 10th inning to pick up his third win of the season. 3B Victor Rodriguez led the Saints offensively with a hit and two RBI in the game.

El Paso 5, Lincoln 3

HR: EP-Albenis Machado (3); LN-Cory Harris (9), Josh Patton (4)

SS Albenis Machado went 2-for-4 with two RBI and hit his 3rd homerun of the season to power the Diablos past Lincoln 5-3. DH Braulio Castillo also added to the El Paso cause with three hits and an RBI of his own. Starting pitcher David McWatters picked up his first win of the season,

allowing only two runs on six hits over seven innings. The Lincoln offense was strong, getting 10 hits despite losing the game. Four different batters had two hits on the night for the Saltdogs to account for the majority of their offense. Lincoln CF Cory Harris hit his 9th homerun of the year in the losing effort.

Sioux City 2, Sioux Falls 0 (Top 5th / Suspended)

@ Sioux City, IA.

The game was suspended in the top of the 5th inning due to a power outage. It is scheduled to resume Wednesday, June 21, at 5:35 p.m. CT. Wednesday's regularly scheduled game will be played after the completion of the suspended game and will be a seven inning game.
