Sioux City 3, Kansas City 2 (11 Innings) - Box Score

The Sioux City Explorers walked off on the Kansas City T-Bones 3-2 in 11 innings.

The Explorers scored the first run of the night in the first inning when CF Luis Durango (2-for-5) scored on a 3B Jose Sermo (2-for-4) single and they added a second run in the sixth when Sermo scored on an error. The T-Bones tied the game in the seventh when 1B Noah Perio Jr. singled home SS Mason Davis (3-for-5) and CF Todd Cunningham.

The score remained level until the 11th when Durango hit a lead-off single and came around to score when 2B Jay Baum (2-for-5) hit a one-out single.

RF Michael Lang, DH Blake Schmit and C Dylan Kelly each added a pair of hits for the Explorers.

Wichita 3, Cleburne 1 - Box Score

After giving up a run in the first inning, the Wichita Wingnuts kept the Cleburne Railroaders off the board the rest of the way to take a 3-1 win.

Cleburne's SS Angel Rosa hit a home run in the Railroaders' first at-bat of the game but the Wingnuts tied things up in the fifth when 2B Logan Watkins (2-for-5) tripled home SS Leo Vargas. CF Zach Nehrir (2-for-3) gave the Wingnuts the lead in the seventh with a solo home run, his sixth of 2018, and Watkins added another insurance run in the ninth on an error.

For the Railroaders, 2B Trevor Sealey, 1B Patrick Palmeiro and CF KC Huth each went 2-for-4 in the game.

Chicago 11, Winnipeg 9 - Box Score

The Chicago Dogs used an eight-run fifth inning to power past the Winnipeg Goldeyes 11-9.

The Dogs were trailing 4-2 heading into the fifth before taking control of the contest. In the fifth, C Michael Falsetti (2-for-4) hit a lead-off home run to kickstart the rally. After CF Kenny Wilson (3-for-5) tripled, 2B Edwin Arroyo (2-for-4) doubled home Wilson and then scored when DH Trey Vavra (2-for-5) singled. Later in the frame, SS Stephen Perez (2-for-5) doubled in a pair of runs and two batters later Falsetti did the same thing.

Wilson plated the final run of the inning with an RBI single.

For the Goldeyes, 2B Tucker Nathans went 3-for-5 with two RBIs and 3B Josh Mazzola went 2-for-4 with three RBIs on two home runs.

Sioux Falls 5, Fargo-Moorhead 2 - Box Score

The Sioux Falls Canaries put together a late push and overcame an early lead from the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks to win 5-2.

Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks opened the game in the top of the first as RF Tim Colwell scored when 1B Chris Jacobs grounded out. C Charlie Valerio added a solo home run in the sixth to push the lead to 2-0. The Sioux Falls took the lead with four runs. LF Mike Hart scored on OF Jordan Smith's fielder's choice and Smith ended up scored the final run of the rally alongside SS Jordan Dean when 1B David Bergin doubled.

Dean also added an RBI single and, in the eighth, RF Chris Grayson (2-for-4) scored on a wild pitch.

St. Paul 9, Gary SouthShore 1 - Box Score

The St. Paul Saints racked up nine runs as they dropped the Gary SouthShore RailCats 9-1 on Friday night.

The Saints gave up just one run in the game and it came in the top of the fifth inning when 3B Will Savage scored as 2B Cole Fabio bounced out. St. Paul was already leading by four runs before the RailCats found the scoreboard and then added five more runs in the bottom of the eighth innings.

All nine Saints recorded at least one hit in the game and three of them ended up with two. RF Max Murphy went 2-for-5 with an RBI and both DH Brady Shoemaker and C Justin O'Conner had two hits and two RBIs. LF Burt Reynolds hit his 16th home run of the year.

Lincoln 16, Texas 6 - Box Score

The Lincoln Saltdogs turned 13 hits into 16 runs - including two six-run innings - and beat the Texas AirHogs 16-6.

SS Ivan Marin had three of those hits and added an RBI and two runs scored. CF Alex Glenn and LF Brandon Jacobs each added two hits and Jacobs added three RBIs including his 16th homer of the year. Glenn, as well as DH Curt Smith and 1B T.J. Bennett, also left the yard on the night.

For the AirHogs, RF Stewart Ijames went 2-for-4 with an RBI and three runs scored and SS Casio Grider also had two hits. DH Dillon Thomas had a team-high two RBIs.
