Grand Prairie 3, Laredo 2 (Completion of Suspended Game from 5/26, 9 innings)
With two runs in their first at bat after the game's resumption, the Grand Prairie AirHogs earned a win over the Laredo Lemurs. LF Chris Elder hit a two-RBI single in the fifth, driving in 3B Frazier Hall and 2B Josh Eatherly. SS Robi Estrada had previously doubled home Elder in the first. Estrada and Elder had two hits each for the AirHogs.
CF Dvontray Richardson had four hits for the Lemurs, including a double.
RHP Blake Oliver worked a scoreless 3.1 innings in relief for the win for Grand Prairie, while RHP Dakota Watts struck out a batter in a scoreless ninth for the save.
Grand Prairie 2, Laredo 1 (Doubleheader Game Two, 7 innings)
For six frames, the AirHogs offense was held in check, but in the seventh and final inning, it came alive. Pinch hitter Frazier Hall hit a solo home run to tie the game at 1-1, and LF Chris Elder followed with an infield single. After stealing second, he scored on a walk-off single from C Zane Chavez to win the game.
Chavez and 1B Trevor Harden had two hits each for Grand Prairie. CF Dvontray Richardson had two hits for the Lemurs, but it was C Luke Bailey whose home run was all the scoring Laredo would get for the game.
RHP Zachary Dando struck out a batter in two innings of relief work and earned the win.
