St. Paul 5, Sioux City 3 (12 Innings)

With one out in the bottom of the 12th inning, St. Paul 1B Brian Burgamy belted a two-run walkoff home run to give the Saints a dramatic 5-3 victory over the Sioux City Explorers. It was Burgamy's second home run of the season and only hit of the contest. St. Paul DH Ole Sheldon went a perfect 2-for-2 at the plate while RF Brandon Tripp hit his 17th home run and scored two runs in a 1-for-3 game. Saints reliever Dylan Thomas collected his first win as he tossed a scoreless inning.

Sioux Falls 2, Winnipeg 1 (Completion of Suspended Game from August 10)

In the completion of the suspended game from yesterday, the Sioux Falls Canaries edged past the Winnipeg Goldeyes by a 2-1 final. Four Sioux Falls hitters had multi-hit games, including SS Cory Morales who went 2-for-5 and knocked in their second run of the game with a fifth inning RBI single. Canaries' hurler Jordan Whatcott, who came in today in place of Saturday's starting pitcher Kyle Vazquez, collected the win as he tossed 3 2/3 innings, allowing an earned run on a hit with two walks and three strikeouts. For Winnipeg in the loss, 2B Amos Ramon went 1-for-4 with a RBI.

Wichita 7, New Jersey 5

The Wichita Wingnuts broke a 3-3 tie with three runs in the sixth inning and would hold on to grab a 7-5 win over the New Jersey Jackals. Third baseman Abel Nieves and 2B Jared McDonald led the way offensively for Wichita. The duo combined to go 4-for-6 at the plate with three RBI and five runs scored. Wingnuts starting pitcher Joshua Stone notched the victory as he threw 5 1/3 innings allowing five runs on eight hits. For New Jersey in defeat, DH Brandon Jones had three hits and drove in a run.
