Sioux Falls 6, Fargo-Moorhead 4

The Sioux Falls Pheasants topped the RedHawks 6-4 with the help of a two-home run game from CF Reggie Abercrombie. The first of his home runs came in the lead-off spot in the second inning and the Pheasants went on to score three more runs in inning. He left the yard again with one out in the fifth to give the Pheasants the lead for good. DH Cesar Nicolas also had a nice game at the plate for the Pheasants as he went 3-for-3 and scored a run. For the RedHawks LF Ryan Stovall was 2-for-3, drew two walks and had two RBI. C Ryan Delgado also had a pair of RBI as he hit his fifteenth home run of the year in the second inning. P Mark Michael picked up the win after a six inning effort in which gave up four runs on four hits.

Lincoln 3, Gary SouthShore 2

Lincoln's RF Mike Provencher lead the way with a strong night at the plate and on the paths with three hits and the game-winning run as the Saltdogs beat Gary SouthShore 3-2. Provencher scored on a sacrifice fly from 1B AJ Miller that broke a 2-2 tie in the bottom of the eighth inning. Provencher also stole a pair of bases in the game. C Chris McMurray provided the rest of the Saltdogs offense with a two-run home run in the fifth that tied the game. The RailCats had the lead after a two-run second inning that included a lead-off solo shot by C Craig Maddox. Reliever Pete Parise earned the win for the striking out the only batter he faced to close out the eighth inning.

El Paso 8, Sioux City 0

El Paso starter Scott Hodson tossed a complete game shutout as the Diablos blanked the Sioux City Explorers 8-0. Hodson gave up seven hits in the game and walked just three batters while striking out half a dozen. At the plate, the Diablos got multi-hit games from five different players including a 3-for-5 performance from RF Welington Dotel. DH Fernando Valenzuela was 2-for-4 with a solo home run that sparked a five-run rally in the bottom of the sixth to put the game out of reach. Both 1B Jermy Acey and 2B Daniel Nelson had two doubles in the ballgame. For the Explorers, 3B Wally Backman had a team-high two hits.

Laredo 8, Grand Prairie 7 (Final - 11 innings)

With one out in the bottom of the eleventh inning Laredo LF Palmer Karr Jr. ended the game with the Grand Prairie AirHogs with a solo home run that put the Lemurs on top 8-7. The walk-off blast was his twelfth home run of the year. The contest was tied after seven innings and AirHog 2B/3B Jairo Perez, who had four RBI on three hits in the game, broke things up with a two-run home run in the top of the eighth. Perez also homered earlier in the ballgame. The Lemurs responded in the bottom of the eighth inning as RF Stephen Pearson homered and CF Stephen Douglas singled in a run to tie things back up. Laredo SS Jimmy Mojica had a team-high three hits.
