St. Paul 5, Grand Prairie 2
Ole Sheldon hit his 14th home run of the season, and St. Paul defeated Grand Prairie, 5-2. The first baseman - who went 1-for-4 in the game - is batting .251 on the year and has seven doubles to go along with his 14 homers. The Saints trailed, 2-0, entering the fourth inning. But in that frame, St. Paul tallied five hits and scored three runs to jump on top of the AirHogs. The first run of the inning came via a Jon Townsend triple. The second baseman scored on the very next at-bat, when 3B Adam Frost doubled him in.
The AirHogs took advantage of a back-to-back inning-opening walks in the second, scoring two runs on just two hits against St. Paul starting pitcher Luke Anderson. Outside of that frame, however, Anderson shut out Grand Prairie, allowing his club to mount its comeback. Anderson allowed four hits and four walks in the game while striking out four.
