Amarillo Outlasts Arkansas in 12 Innings

North Little Rock, AR - In their longest game of the season the Arkansas Travelers fell to the Amarillo Sod Poodles in 12 innings, 4-1. The Travs had multiple chances to take the lead or win the game late but could not come up with a clutch hit. Nick Dalesandro hit the go-ahead double for Amarillo with two out in the top of the 12th. The Travs' bullpen had pitched 6.1 scoreless innings before the Sod Poodles put up three runs with two outs in the 12th.

Moments That Mattered

* Down a run, Arkansas loaded the bases with no one out in the seventh. They tied the game on a fielder's choice by Jack Larsen but a double play prevented them from adding on.

* The Travs had the go-ahead or potential winning run in scoring position with less than two out in the 8th, 10th and 12th innings but did not cash in.
