AMARILLO, TX - Even though the seven game home stand didn't get off to the best start for the Amarillo Bulls, they hope to turn their fortunes around when they resume play this weekend.

After a tough 9-1 loss to the Wichita Falls Wildcats on Friday night, their lone game of the past weekend, the Bulls host the Lone Star Brahmas this Friday and Saturday at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center. The face-off for both is 7 pm.

THE WEEK AHEAD:

TONIGHT AT 6 PM - AMARILLO BULLS RADIO SHOW: Join us at Seven Bar and Grill for the Amarillo Bulls Radio Show. Get a chance to meet some of the new faces of the Bulls and hear from Head Coach Jon Rogger. The Radio Show airs live on CBS Sports 1440 and online at www.amarillobulls.com.

FRIDAY OCT. 17 & SATURDAY, OCT. 18 - LONE STAR BRAHMAS @ AMARILLO BULLS, 7 PM: It's Blue and Pink Weekend as the Bulls help to Conquer Cancer. The first 500 fans on Friday will get blue Bulls' t-shirts, while on Saturday the first 500 fans get pink t-shirts. The American Cancer Society High Plains Division will be in attendance on both nights.

BROADCAST OPTIONS: This Friday's game will once again be aired on Amarillo's Rock Station Rock 108 beginning with the Wayland Baptist University Warm Up Show at 6:40 pm. Saturday's game returns to CBS Sports Radio 1440 with pre-game coverage facing off also at 6:40 pm. The puck drop follows at 7 pm. WEEKLY REWIND

BULLS GIVING BACK IN COMMUNITY: It was a busy week for the Amarillo Bulls in the community with many events that took place. Bulls' players were at the United Way Youth Day last Tuesday handing out food and drinks and posing for pictures. Other events included participation at the Just Between Friends Sale, the Amazingly Fun Farms/Farmageddon Halloween Displays, and the Amarillo Scaregrounds. Rampage visited the Cakes And More Anniversary on Saturday.

WICHITA FALLS WILDCATS 9 - AMARILLO BULLS 1: Captain Mitch McPherson netted the lone goal in the second period as the Bulls dropped a 9-1 decision to the Wichita Falls Wildcats. The loss extended the Bulls winless streak to five games.
