Keegan Miller had another great night to help the Eagles to a weekend home sweep of the Wilderness thanks to a 4-3 win on Saturday. The Eagles jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the 1st period on goals from Miller, Nick Belger and Mitch Vanderburg. After Ivan Chukarov answered for Minnesota to make it 3-1, but three minutes later Miller scored his second goals to make it 4-1 after one period. Niklas Lehtimaki and Tobias Bjorklund scored in the 2nd period for the Wilderness, but that would be as close as they would get.
