
Alouettes Select Geoffrey Cantin-Arku in the First Round

Montreal - The Montreal Alouettes selected linebacker Geoffrey Cantin-Arku in the first round (ninth overall) of the 2024 CFL Draft.
Cantin-Arku (6'3'', 240 lbs.) spent the last two seasons with Memphis University. In 26 games, he amassed 82 solo tackles, 73 assisted, one interception and four knockdowns.
He played three seasons with Syracuse University from 2019 to 2021. In his last two campaigns at Syracuse, the Levis, Quebec native collected 78 solo tackles and 28 assisted. The 25-year-old added three forced fumbles and one knockdown in 22 games.
He was invited in the Miami Dolphins rookie minicamp next May.

Hamlin (6'0'', 195 lbs.) wore the Colgate University uniform for five seasons. In 2023, the Ottawa, Ont. native totaled 34 tackles, one interception and five knockdowns.
Roane (6'4'', 255 lbs.) played four years for South Dakota. In 40 games, he collected 94 tackles, 7,5 sacks, three knockdowns and two forced fumbles.
Antoine (6'1'', 217 lbs.) won the Vanier Cup with the Laval Rouge et Or in 2022. His production was impressive with 330 yards on 29 receptions in 13 games. In 2023, in only six games, he earned 117 yards in ten receptions and a touchdown.
Herzog (5'9'', 200 lbs.) was really productive in his last two campaigns with Hillsdale College. In 22 games, he collected 2,273 yards on 430 runs and he scored 29 majors.
Jamal (5'11'', 171 lbs.) had success with Western University. In his last year, he earned 770 yards and five majors on 49 receptions in 11 games.
Delisle (6'2'', 190 lbs.) is a product of Université Laval and won the Vanier Cup in 2022. In 31 games, he made 39 tackles, one interception and five knockdowns.
