
Alouettes Complete Amazing Comeback in Ottawa

Montreal - The Montreal Alouettes defeated the Ottawa REDBLACKS at TD Place on Saturday night. Jason Maas' squad were trailing 17-3 at halftime but they scored 22 points in the last two quarters, which allowed them to win 25-24. With under 20 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, quarterback Caleb Evans scrambled for a three-yard touchdown to give the Als their first lead of the game.
The REDBLACKS managed to score just seven points in the second half of the game.
Notes of the game:
-Caleb Evans earned 333 passing yards and two majors through the air. He added 49 yards and a touchdown on eight carries.
-Receivers Tyler Snead (7/7; 98 yards) and Austin Mack (9/13; 116 yards) played a big role in the team's comeback.
-Wesley Sutton led the team with six defensive tackles. Linebacker Frédéric Chagnon finished with five.
-The Alouettes were credited with three quarterback sacks (Mustafa Johnson, Tyrice Beverette, Shawn Lemon).
