Alouettes clinch division title

Montreal, October 16, 2004 - The Montreal Alouettes have clinched their fifth East Division Championship in six years.

With the Toronto Argonauts 29-11 loss to the Calgary Stampeders, the Alouettes are now guaranteed to finish atop the East standings with their 12-3 record.

This is the Alouettes' 13th Division Championship. They have reached the Grey Cup Final a total of 13 times.

1946, 1953, 1954, 1955, 1956, 1974, 1977, 1979, 1999, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004.
13 Grey Cup Finals
1949, 1954, 1955, 1956, 1970, 1974, 1975, 1977, 1978, 1979, 2000, 2002, 2003.

The East Division Championship, presented by WestJet, will take place at Montreal's Olympic Stadium on Sunday, November 14th. Tickets for that game will be on sale as of Monday, October 18 at noon and fans have three options to purchase their tickets:
