
Alley Cats to hold First Open Tryout Camp for the 2006-2007 season

Indianapolis, IN. Owner Rob Blackwell and the Indiana Alley Cats coaching staff put together one of the strongest teams in the ABA last season as they topped the Power Rankings for 18 straight weeks before losing a double overtime game in the playoffs. Today, new head coach Carlos Knox has announced that the Alley Cats will hold its First Open Tryout Camp for the 2006-2007 season on Friday, June 16th and Saturday, June 17th.
Coach Knox will use this first tryout for the team that begins play again in November and for scheduled summer exhibition games. The June 16th and 17th tryout will be held at the Wigwam Gymnasium located at 1229 Lincoln Street in Anderson, Indiana. Call 317 289 6024 for directions. Bring your A game and take the next step in becoming a professinal basketball player. Friday's session will run from 5pm-9pm and Saturday's from 9am-1pm.
Pre-registration for the camp is $125 and $150 at the door. Registration is on a first come-first served basis. The deadline for pre-registration is June 12th. Payment by money order or cashier's check only for pre-registration and cash only for at the door registration.
