Noise to hold open tryouts

Knoxville, TN. Suki Sports CEO and team owner Gavin Raiteri has announced that the Knoxville Noise will be holding their first ever open tryouts for the new team on May 20, 2006 from 9am to 6pm in the UT HYPER building at the University of Tennessee. Registration must be completed by May 19th in order to participate in the team try-outs. Registration can be done in person on Friday, May 19th from 6-9pm at the same location, or on-line at the team's official website, www.knoxvillenoise.com.

When asked how he felt about the upcoming try-outs, Mr. Raiteri replied, "We can't wait to get some players in here and really get this thing started. I know that we're going to have a great turn out and the competition should be outstanding." The try-outs are open to the public and anyone interested is encouraged to visit the team web-site, www.knoxvillenoise.com. The registration fees are $75 before May 13th and $100 until May 19th.

Sterling Henton, Director of Basketball Operations for the team had this to say, "All of the players had better bring their "A" game because the competition is going to be fierce." All participants who attend the open try-outs will receive a Knoxville Noise jersey for trying out.

Try-outs will also be held for the "Noise Girls," the team's dance team. These try-outs are also open to the public and will be held May 19th from 630pm to 9pm at the UT HYPER building. Team President and co-owner Ashley Raiteri said, "We're looking for energetic, outgoing and talented dancers who love to have fun to pump up the fans and help create an exciting atmosphere for the Noise and the City of Knoxville." The "Noise Girls" will also be doing appearances in and around the city of Knoxville.
