Alley Cats Defense Earns Them Another Win
November 28, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Indiana AlleyCats News Release
Anderson, IN--The Indiana Alley Cats' great defensive play led to several 24 second clock violations and very few second chance opportunities for the visiting Pittsburgh Xplosion. The Alley Cats are now 7-0 as they grab their second win against the Xplosion.
Indiana led 63-34 after an exciting first half of dunks, blocks, and steals. Despite Pittsburgh's good looks at the basket, they couldn't get anything to fall until late in the fourth quarter as they began to chip away at Indiana's lead. Nevertheless, Indiana remained in control and picked up another win with a final score of 128-105. Indiana was led by Lincoln Glass with 19 points, followed by Mike Elliott with 18 and Shaun Fountain with 12. Steve Turner and Brandon Brantley grabbed 14 and 12 rebounds respectively. Pittsburgh's Kyle Crawford led all scorers with 22 points.
Indiana plays back to back home games on Saturday, December 3rd and Sunday, December 4th at the O.C. Lewis Gymnasium on the campus of Anderson University. Start time for both games is 5:00 p.m. For additional information, please email Michelle Brantley at mreveter@hotmail.com or www.indyalleycats.com.
