
Allen Ties ECHL Shutout Record

Andrew Allen made 24 saves and posted his third consecutive shutout in Trenton's 4-0 win over Greensboro on Friday, tying the East Coast Hockey League record for consecutive shutouts held by Hampton Roads Darryl Paquette, who posted back-to-back-to-back shutouts
Allen won 1-0 in overtime against Toledo on February 5, 5-0 at Charlotte on February 7 and 4-0 against Greenville on Friday. Paquette won 2-0 against Knoxville on March 25, 1997, 5-0 against South Carolina on March 28, 1997, and 6-0 at Roanoke on March 29, 1997.
Allen's scoreless streak with Trenton is 182:27, and dating back to his last game with Dayton, a 5-3 loss against Cincinnati on January 10, he has not allowed a goal in 184:53.
The longest shutout sequence in ECHL history is 236:03 by Paquette:
