Allen, Texas -The final Allen Americans Coach's Show of the regular season is tonight at On the Border in Allen, beginning at 5:00 pm . Come talk playoff hockey with Steve Martinson and enjoy some great Mexican food. On the Border is located at 213 N Central Expressway in Allen.
The Americans open the post-season at home next Wednesday April 2nd, and Thursday April 3rd at Allen Event Center. Thursday night's game will be a special start time of 6:00 pm ., due to a busy weekend of activities next weekend at Allen Event Center.
Allen has qualified for the post-season five straight years, including two trips to the Presidents' Cup Finals, in 2009-2010 and 2012-2013. In year one, the Allen Americans fell to the Rapid City Rush in six games, with last year Allen claiming the ultimate prize of the Presidents' Cup Championship in seven games over Wichita.
The Americans play their final two regular season home games this weekend against the Denver Cutthroats on Friday and Saturday night at 7:05 pm at Allen Event Center. Tickets for all remaining home games and Games 1,2, and 3 of round 1 are on sale now at www.ticketmaster.com or call (972) 912-1000.
