2003 Kelly Cup Playoffs Southwest Division Finals (Best-of-Five)
No. 2 Louisiana IceGators (40-20-12) at No. 1 Mississippi Sea Wolves (44-24-4)
* Louisiana is 8-3-1 against Mississippi in 2002-03 and is 3-1 all-time in the postseaon.
* Mississippi swept Pensacola, 3-0 and Louisiana swept Arkansas, 3-0.
* IceGators are tied for the Kelly Cup Playoffs lead in goals allowed, averaging 0.67 goals per game.
* Sea Wolves are tied for third in the Kelly Cup Playoffs in scoring, averaging 5.00 goals.
* Louisiana's Kyle Kettles is tied for the Kelly Cup Playoffs lead with a 0.67 goals against average.
* Mississippi's Greg Gardner is 3-0 with a 1.00 goals against average in the Kelly Cup Playoffs.
* IceGators held Arkansas to two goals in three games, tying the ECHL playoff record for fewest goals allowed in a three-game series.
* Sea Wolves' Jim Baxter is tied for second in the Kelly Cup Playoffs with five assists.
* Louisiana's Nathan Rempel scored the game-winning goal in both Game 2 and Game 3 against Arkansas.
* Mississippi ranks second in the Kelly Cup Playoffs on the power play with 45.5 percent (10-for-22).
